Sounds good! My pronunciation course contains a lot on tone pairs! Some of it is freely available here too.

Be curious, have fun, explore.
No missed days.
Shadowing, chorusing, reading a transcript aloud with annotation to drill down on inaccuracies, walk and talk.
Revise, restudy tone collocations (tone pairs mostly) …
Complete and restudy Outlier Linguistics pronunciation course. Plus a couple of other study docs I have bookmarked..
And get feedback in lessons with tutors.
I kind of want to pack all this into about 3 hours a day, and maybe allow another hour for more relaxed shadowing. I want to protect my energy because it is also singing season and that takes a lot of time and energy, while having huge benefits for listening and speaking.
Thanks Ollie for this opportunity. It is really appreciated. Do you have anything in your blog on the collocations (tone pairs/ trisyllabics etc). I would be really happy to add that to my study during the challenge.

Sounds good! Setting a low per-day goal for things like pronunciation probably works better. You can always keep going if it’s interesting or you get into it!

My goal is to work on pronunciation for about 5 minutes every day for at least 2 hours this month. I’m especially focusing on the yu and pinyin sounds with u. Each day, I’ll shadow a Youtube pinyin practice video.

Every segment has a slow-speed dialogue then a regular-speed dialogue. It is accompanied by 汉子, Pinyin & English, which is just right for me.

Great! Also good that you commented here so I can update the article to be relevant for 2023, thanks! 🙂

These are always worthy goals and worthwhile activities, almost regardless of level! You can essentially not go wrong with more mimicking, except maybe if you mimic something most native speakers would agree is weird or just plain wrong, but the likelihood of that is very low. 🙂 Good luck!
